Salute to the ANZACS

Coast Opera Australia’s annual “Salute to the ANZACS” performance and family concert held at Industree Group Stadium.

We are finally able to relaunch with our first event for the season and it is one that you certainly will not want to miss! We have an amazing assembly of artists for our evening of entertainment.

Our trumpeter for our official tribute is Mr Bruce Hellmers, a prolific musician who has performed with the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Opera Orchestra and the Philharmonia as well as 34 years with the Opera Australia Orchestra.

Wil Sabin Dance Academy are our dancers for the evening, the newest performing arts school to hit the Central Coast, teaching and performing in all genres in performing arts.

Our Operatic artists for the evening are emerging artist Soprano Mia Cross, our up-and-coming young local artist, Soprano Suzi Stengel, a South African-born local Operatic Artist and our Baritone for the evening from Opera Australia, Nicholas Geddes. And finally, we have our Principal Artist Mezzo-Soprano Viktoria Bolonina. We are incredibly proud to have her returning to the stage for Coast Opera Australia after undergoing surgery and Chemotherapy for a brain tumour. Viktoria is a classically trained crossover artist with a Master of Music in Opera Performance. Her previous credits include a finalist in The Voice Australia, a regular performer in Carols in the Domain.

There will be a coffee van on site also selling pies, sausage rolls and some snack foods- main food outlets in the stadium are not open for this event.
